The Ironbark Difference

  • Professional and measured advice, backed by years of experience in buyer advocacy and law.
  • The advice we give to you is the advice we would give to friends and family. Honest, and solely in your best interest.
  • Negotiation expertise and know-how. Taking the stress and uncertainty out of securing your property.
  • No kickbacks. We do not pay referral fees. You have been referred to us because we do a great job for our clients.

Our Philosophy

If we wouldn’t buy a property for our brother, sister, parent or friend, we won’t buy it for you. Honest advice does not change between audiences. We take pride in our principles and are strict in their application.

Our Focus

We focus on exceptional client service, which produces consistently outstanding results for clients. We deliberately limit the number of people we work with at any one time, allowing us to focus on you and achieving your property goals.

Sound interesting?

We know, it doesn’t sound like typical real estate language. We will happily explain in more detail how we operate and how the Ironbark Property Advocates philosophy results in you finding your dream home.

How does it work?

As buyer advocates we work for you, the buyer. We are only paid by you and act only on your instructions. Once you have employed us, we will have a detailed discussion about your brief and purchase budget. We then scour the marketplace and find the best property options for you within those search parameters.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the client journey with Ironbark Property Advocates is going out to inspect properties together on an exploration and education tour. We like to do this early in our property search, so that you can experience how the brief and budget fit together, and make any adjustments if they are necessary.

We work until we find a property that is suitable, and then help you conduct due diligence by introducing you to our network of trusted professionals in the industry. We have property lawyers, pest & building inspectors, builders & tradespeople, architects, finance brokers, and property managers that we can recommend without hesitation. If there is something amiss or a serious issue evident in the due diligence, we are not afraid to advise our clients to walk away from a property.

Once we are satisfied with the outcome of the due diligence, we provide comprehensive advice on the value of the property and formulate a strategy to purchase it. Through our experience, we know how to manage each different type of purchase negotiation, including auctions. If we aren’t successful, we keep searching to discover other opportunities for you. There is no strict time limit to our work with you, because we know that there is no set time period in which the right property will emerge. We continue our work until we have achieved a successful outcome.

Professional insight

Bringing Alice into the process was a game changer for us. She was able to get insights we didn’t have access to and negotiate from a much more informed position. We would not have been successful getting our property if we didn’t have Alice involved.
